A few weekends ago my family took a walk up Bernal Hill. You can see the most amazing views of San Francisco and the bay from here. But turning my back on our majestic city I realized it is also a fantastic viewpoint for our own hidden neighborhood. I took a few photos and here is one (with a few landmarks highlighted) which shows the Portola as the great little city suburb that it is.
