Want an example, here’s what one gets if you e-mail Hillary Ronen’s staff about Portola District constituent issues as an auto-reply:

“Thank you for your email. I will be out of the office during the first few weeks of the legislative recess, and will return on August 19th.

If the matter is urgent, please call the front desk at 415-554-5144.

    Thanks so much,

    Carolyn Goosen
    Lesiglative Aide, Supervisor Hillary Ronen”

Hmmmmmm, perhaps they’re busy doing this paying each other off with $10K “consulting contracts” right before they start working in Ronen’s office:

[Anyone think it is fishy that both Ronen and Mandelman didn’t report this on their disclosure forms? That’s what Frank Underwood of “House of Cards” would do.]

Blocking and tackling. Either Ronen et al can do it, or they can sit around and talk about infrastructure that are more appropriate of LBJ and Roosevelt. Let’s face it, though, SF politicians are not LBJ or Roosevelt. They’re more like the circus freaks who currently occupy the WH, only on the left and more articulate. Doesn’t change the fact they are circus freaks (who pay each other in installments of $10K….think anyone paid taxes on that, given that it wasn’t reported in official city docs.? Hmmm, IRS, anyone?)
